I’m Sam, a herpetologist, photographer, and conservationist from the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. Since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by the unique, misunderstood creatures that make up such important parts of our ecosystems. Through research, photography, and outreach, my goal is not only to understand these creatures better, but to share their wonders with the world.
